Mark Lanegan, il concerto tributo a Londra

Lo scorso 5 dicembre ha avuto luogo alla Roundhouse di Londra il concerto tributo a Mark Lanegan nell’anno dunque in cui avrebbe compiuto 60 anni. L’ex leader degli Screaming Trees, che di anni ne aveva 57 quando ci ha lasciato nel 2022, è stato ricordato in un live dal titolo Mark Lanegan – A Celebration. Sul palco si sono avvicendati i componenti dei Queens Of The Stone Age Josh Homme e TroyVan Leeuwen, il frontman dei Depeche Mode Dave Gahan, Chrissie Hynde dei Pretenders, Allison Mosshart dei Kills, Greg Dulli degli Afghan Whigs, Bobbie Gillespie dei Primal Scream e tanti altri.

Qui di seguito si possono guardare alcuni video della serata, da quelli di Dave Gahan, che ha eseguito Kingdoms Of Rain e Hit The City, a Bobby Gillespie, che ha ricordato Lanegan con Sworn And Broken degli Screaming Trees, a Greg Dulli, che si è cimentato con i Soulsavers in The Stations dei Gutter Twins, gruppo che lui stesso aveva formato proprio insieme a Lanegan, fino a Josh Homme alle prese con Carnival.
