Beach Boys – A giugno in uscita il nuovo box “1967 – Sunshine Tomorrow”

Il 30 giugno esce un box set di due cd che ripercorrono il periodo successivo a “Pet Sounds”
I Beach Boys sono pronti a pubblicare diverse rarità e brani mai ascoltati finora, risalenti al periodo immediatamente successivo a Pet Sounds, in un box set di due dischi dal titolo 1967 – Sunshine Tomorrow, in uscita il 30 giugno per Capitol/UMe.
 
Sunshine Tomorrow attinge alle registrazioni delle session che produssero gli album Smiley Smile e Wild Honey, entrambi usciti nel 1967, ai quali i Beache Boys iniziarono a lavorare dopo aver abbandonato il progetto Smile. Per celebrare i 50 anni dall’uscita di Wild Honey, il disco verrà ripubblicato anche in versione vinile 180 grammi.
 
I due dischi del box Sunshine Tomorrow contengono una versione rimasterizzata di WIld Honey, compreso il mix stereo originale, con l’aggiunta di 54 registrazioni rare del periodo. Tra queste ultime, l’album dal vivo inedito Lei’d in Hawaii, altre versioni dal vivo registrate a fine anni ’60 e brani inediti dalle session di Wild Honey e Smiley Smile.
