Oggi, 13 luglio, dalle 13:00 ora italiana, cioè da quando iniziò quarant’anni fa, il Canale YouTube del Live Aid rimanderà in onda tutto l’evento

Era il 13 luglio 1985 quando allo Stadio di Wembley di Londra e allo Stadio John F. Kennedy di Filadelfia in contemporanea si svolse il Live Aid. Quasi due miliardi di telespettatori nei 150 paesi collegati per la diretta televisiva di un evento epocale, organizzato da Bob Geldof dei Boomtown Rats e Midge Ure degli Ultravox per ricavare fondi in favore dell’Etiopia affetta dalla carestia.

Noi abbiamo ricordato il Live Aid 40 anni dopo in una delle nostre Music Room, condotta come di consueto da EZIO GUAITAMACCHI, con RONNIE JONES, chiamato a fare la cronaca live e la traduzione del lungo evento su Rai Stereo Uno, con ALDO PEDRON, giornalista musicale che ha scritto un libro sull’evento insieme ad Angelo De Negri, Live Aid. Il juke-box globale compie 40 anni (Arcana), e con STEFANO SENARDI, discografico che organizzò vent’anni dopo il live in Italia al Circo Massimo di Roma del Live 8, una serie di undici concerti gratuiti svoltisi il 2 luglio 2005 nelle nazioni appartenenti al G8.
